Organize your beauty schedule

It is best to start planning for the bridal beauty about four months prior to your wedding day. However, if you find yourself with just about a month to the Big Day, then do not worry and simply follow our tips!

Avoid consuming anything that can cause allergic reaction from a month before the wedding day. This includes glycolic peels or alcohol.

Hair

Begin by getting rid of the dandruff on your hair. It is best to go for organic products like paste of curd, lemon juice, and chickpea flour. Apply leave-in conditioner on nights and use a silk pillowcase. Do not use hair products which contain sulfate, as these will only ruin your natural hair texture in the long run. Start using natural products full-time and mark a change in your beauty life too with the beginning of your marriage.

Facial skin

Who doesn’t want their skin to say ‘I do’ with glowing happiness as well? Start by getting a professional facial. Follow a strict cleansing, toning, and moisturizing regime daily. Also, apply a night cream. Exfoliation is also a must if you want soft and pink skin. This can be done thrice a week if you have a dry skin and only once if you have an oily skin. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking as much as possible. It will also be best if you also get a course of multivitamins and minerals prescribed to help your skin. When it comes to whitening your face, simply add some color with cream or powder bronzer than to go to a tanning salon which can leave you looking too red or orange.

The pimple alert!

Are you worried about the pimple oozing up just days before your wedding? If it is a whitehead, you can fix it with hot compress and subsequent cold compresses. You can also try out a little bit of benzyl peroxide which will remove the bacteria. To soothe your skin, apply cotton pads soaked in cold milk or chamomile tea. After this, apply lukewarm water. You should also put on a little Visine (a solution for eye care) on the pimple.

Eye care

Then apply a foundation which is appropriate for your skin color and type. If you have any dark circles, use a concealer. Apply an eye shadow suitable for your skin tone. If you are not sure which one to use, the safest option is to go with smoky black combination. Next, apply kajal as you generally do. Make sure you do not put a thick layer. Use an eyeliner and ensure to keep your hands very stable while applying it. Lastly, put on mascara to make your eyelashes heavy. Once the mascara has completely dried up, use a curler to give a wonderful shape to your lashes. If you intend on getting your eyebrows tweezed, do it at least a week before the wedding day. If you do it just a few days before the wedding, it could leave horrific red marks on your face.

Teeth

Bleach your teeth to bring out the perfect smile! However, do not choose an over-the-counter product without an appointment and consultation with your dentist. If you want to whiten your teeth without the use of artificial substances, then eat raw vegetables like celery or carrots. These will take away the stains on the surface. You can also wipe your teeth with lemons and strawberries. Both of these are naturally produced whiteners. Make sure you rinse with cool water later. Prevent drinking dark sodas, red wine, and coffee.

Nails

If you want to don heels on your wedding day, make sure you have clean and well-kept nails. Paint your nails at least two days before your wedding day.

Waxing

Wax your body regularly. Your body should get used to the pressure of the pull much before the day of the wedding. Wax about 5 days prior to the wedding day. This will allow the redness or rashes to settle down well.

Manicure and pedicures

About 4 months prior to your wedding, start taking manicures and pedicures on a monthly basis. This will ensure that your feet and hands have enough time to lose their dryness and become soft. These will also make sure that they are moisturized well.

Time-checklist

Before 3.5 months – Start your detox diet, facials (every 3 weeks), waxing, as well as manicures and pedicures (monthly). Also, begin exfoliating.

On the Wedding Day – Begin by exfoliating your skin by using a face scrub. Then, moisturize. Make sure you get a well-known beautician and stylist. It is best not to choose your friends, unless they are trained. Be ready about 3 hours prior to the wedding. Take a deep breath and enjoy your day!

Bonus tips

Those who are considering Botox should make sure that they get it done at least a month ago. You can also consider laser treatments for hair removal. These will stay longer and can be started about 8 months prior to the day. If you intend on making up yourself, then try the makeup on your skin at least a week before so that you can do tweak ups if required. Lastly, the three essentials – drink lot of water (at least 8-10 glasses a day), eat a balanced diet, and get adequate physical exercise daily!

Trial run

You might think that you have planned everything just perfect. However, there are chances that when it actualizes, you feel like you do not look the way you wanted to. So, get a dress rehearsal at least three weeks prior to the wedding day. Get the hairdressing you wish to don and also get some photographs clicked to get an idea of how your day would be.
