Why do I have PVCs, and what’s the best treatment?
  • By Team TDO

The exact cause of premature ventricular complexes is not known. However congenital heart disease, history of coronary heart disease, anxiety attack, side effect of certain medication, etc are some of the triggering factor. Treatment is not required if the PVC's are occasional and otherwise you are healthy. Treatment is necessary only if the symptoms are severe. Treatment options include avoiding known triggers, beta blocker medicines and ablation therapy.
