I am 54 year old Sr. executive, height 165, weight 68 Kgs. I have hypertension. Some times it will be 120/80, or 160/100 or 154/95 etc. I have undergone TMT, Echo cardio tests and found all right. I am attending fitness club daily. I used to lift 30-40 Kgs for chest exercises 16 kgs for biceps and shoulders, 30 kgs for legs(once in 4 days). What is the ideal weight suitable for me the exercises?

The amount of lifted weights will depend upon your stamina and fitness status. Take the advice of your gym instructor. The lifted weight should be such that it challenges you without draining/overpowering you. If you feel excessively tired or short of breath after any exercise, you should reduce the weights/reps. Make sure you follow the right posture and technique for weight lifting.
