Hello doctor. I am 29 years old, height 5 8, weight 67 kg and just 1 month back my sugar level went high because I was in emotional stress, intake of mangoes, coke, chocolates and lots of smoking and since 2 years I was sleeping at 8 am in morning. But now when I have stopped everything. Now my sugar is 81mg. But now I want to maintain the same level. Please advice me diet to control it like same and I am a bodybuilder, earlier I use to take protein supplements, please recommend me any protein supplement after workout and let me know I can do bodybuilding. Also give me complete diet chart and all fruits which keeps my body strong and sugar in control.

Good to know that your sugar levels are under control now. You can continue with bodybuilding, but care must be taken that you follow a good eating plan along with it. Your pre and post workout meals should contain carbohydrate as well as protein. For eg: you can take whole wheat toast with egg omelet an hour before workout and a banana with whey protein milkshake immediately after workout. Avoid anything that is refined, highly processed, deep fried or high in saturated fats. Instead consume plenty of whole grains, fresh fruits, green veggies. Include protein rich foods such as eggs, fish, chicken, milk and milk products in your regular meals. As far as taking a supplement post workout is concerned, take whey protein. Remember with healthy eating plan and regular exercise sugar levels can be kept under control.
