How soon after a muscle strain or sprain can I begin exercising again?

The recovery time varies from individual to individual depending upon the severity of the injury. However if you feel that pain has completely subsided and day to day movement of the affected region is painless then you are good to begin exercise. However for initial days do keep your exercise intensity low and gradually build up.
