I m 36 years old married man with 5 ft 6 in height but under weight (40 kg) even though my diet is ok. All my medical report (blood, lft, kft, thyroid, testosterone, digestive enzymes, radiology, etc) are normal. Some nutrition supplement distributor check my body at kardascan machine and told that my BMR is low, it was 1100, how it can be checked with tests and is there a way to increase it, how it effect body. Which specialty it is concerned? Kindly reply in detail.

Low BMR should cause weight gain rather than making you underweight. The readings are not correct. Apart from this, if your tests are normal and appetite is good, you are healthy. Apparent low weight could be just your genetic built.
