What is tension headache? how can I differentiate it with migraine headache?

Tension headache is commonly referred to as stress headaches. It is most common type of headache among adults. Tension headaches are usually triggered by some type of environmental or internal stress related with family, work, social or economical factor etc. The tension headache is more generalized with dull and pressure like pain. The individual is not sensitive to light and noise with tension headache. It is not localized to one side only.The nausea and vomitting are rarely seen in the tension headache. There is no prodromal aura as such seen in with the tension headache; and the pain is mild to moderate.
