Yes. Chronic stress, is in fact a major cause of depression. Stress is part and parcel of everyone's life. But the way a person deal with it is important. Chronic stress can affect your relationship at work and at home. It can affect your concentration, ability to do day to day activities, decision making ability, etc. Together these things can eventually lead to depression.
