What can I do to control my urinary incontinence?
  • By Team TDO

Treatment for urinary incontinence is determined by its underlying cause, what type of incontinence you have and the severity of the complaint. Initially you can try making following changes: cut down on your fluid intake, if you are on the overweight side try and lose some weight, avoid alcohol and caffeine rich drinks, include more fiber in your diet to avoid constipation, try and void urine every two hours and practice kegel exercise to tone your pelvic muscles. If all these don't help than consult a gynecologist for medication. Surgery will be required if everything else fail to relieve your complaints.
